About

Aisha Green is an artist of Jamaican and Dominican descent, born in Toronto and raised between Toronto and South Florida. Her work explores selfhood, place, memory, relationality, and inheritance—both cultural and familial. Through painting, collage, and mixed media, she questions, preserves, and reimagines our relationship to the past, to place, and to each other. She currently lives in Toronto, where she is training to become an art therapist—an extension of her commitment to healing through creative practice.

Recent projects include commissioned album artwork for Vanilla Is Black’s EP U Ain’t Neva Lied and single Mezcal (Universal Music/Def Jam 2024); a contribution to the publication ma ma at The Table (Art Metropole, 2025), and a commissioned mural for Essence Festival, sponsored by Pfizer (July 2025).
